Your Morvelle structure is made from high-grade powder-coated
aluminium so requires very little maintenance, but here are a few tips to
keep it looking amazing throughout the year.
Verandas and canopies aftercare
Give the aluminium frame a wipe down with a damp cloth periodically. Avoid using chemicals to clean marks from off the paintwork. Clean out the gutter at least twice a year, or more regularly if there are trees close by; this will ensure rainwater drains away quickly. The roof sheets are best cleaned on the outside with a hose pipe and soft brush. Pressure washers should not be used as they may damage the rubber gaskets, causing the roof to leak.
Pergolas aftercare
We recommend booking an annual service from your installer. There are a number of moving parts in a pergola and regular maintenance can avoid the need for unforeseen repair work. When the pergola is not in use, the louvres should be left in the ‘open position’. This will prevent leaves, twigs etc resting on the louvres and reduces the risk of debris getting caught in the mechanisms.
The aluminium surfaces can be kept clean with a damp cloth. Avoid pressure washers, as these may damage the rubber gasket seals and electrics.
Sliding glass doors aftercare
To keep your glass doors in tip-top condition, regular cleaning is key. Use a standard glass cleaner to wipe down the panes, being sure to pay attention to any areas that may be prone to build-up. Additionally, it’s important to keep the bottom track clear of any grit or dirt that may impede the smooth running of the doors. Fortunately, this is a quick and simple task that can be accomplished using a vacuum cleaner or a soft brush. By following these simple maintenance steps, you can ensure that your glass doors remain a beautiful and functional addition to your home for years to come.
Roof blinds aftercare
To ensure the optimal performance and longevity of your blinds, it’s recommended to spray silicone spray into the side channels twice a year to keep them running smoothly. Additionally, the fabric can easily be maintained by wiping it down with a damp cloth, making it quick and effortless to keep your blinds looking as good as new.
